A Little of Everything at Dawg DashDawg Dash saw some bright sun, some clouds, some rain, some hail, and a pretty good turnout considering the iffy weather. Times were all over the map depending on whether drivers ran in the wet, damp, or mostly dry. The UWFSAE crew brought their usual big group of enthusiastic student workers, and a concession stand with burgers and dogs. The large morning competitor groups (one of the grids is shown below) had three runs of the minute-plus course, while the smaller afternoon groups had four. Results are available here: http://www.wwscc.org/event_results/2015/wwscc-02.html
Giddyup! Has Fantastic Weather, Big TurnoutTorque Steerers managed to not only snag a terrific weather day on Sunday, but to attract 135 entrants to its Giddyup! event at Emerald Downs in Auburn. Top Time of Day, and Pro1 class win, went to Kevin Dietz in the S2000; Bob Bundy was just .012 behind in the super fast Miata. Very few people had all four runs clean; Joey Sim and Stacey Molleker were two notables who accomplished the feat. Full results are available here: http://www.wwscc.org/event_results/2015/wwscc-01.html Next WWSCC Event is the UWFSAE Dawg Dash, April 11th at Shelton.
